About Rails Mentor
Philosophy
We are experienced Ruby on Rails consultants that offer training, mentorship, and architecture support, throughout the life cycle of a Ruby on Rails project. We can give you a flying start but we can also help you stay tuned with Ruby on Rails best practices as those evolve over time.
We use an agile software methodology and we look for elegant solutions that are pragmatic, simple, open, and standard. We are passionate about Ruby on Rails and we stay on top of the latest developments in the Ruby on Rails ecosystem.
Peter Marklund
Peter has a masters degree in engineering physics and has been working full time as a software developer since 1999. In 2004 Peter was introduced to Ruby on Rails by David Heinemeier Hanson, the creator of the framework. Since then Peter has developed and deployed a number of commercial Rails applications for various clients. Peter has a particular interest in quality assurance and Test/Behaviour Driven Development (TDD and BDD). When he is not programming, Peter is probably banging on some african drum or dancing Salsa or Lindy Hop. Peter maintains a Rails blog and his CV is available online.
Carl-Johan Kihlbom
Carl-Johan has been developing for the web since 1998. He discovered Ruby in 2003 and is a full-time Ruby on Rails user since the start of 2005. In addition to developing custom Rails applications for his clients, he also deploys the applications in his own hosting company.
Carl-Johan is an avid photographer, and he used to have a blog. He hasn't found the time to update it since his daughters were born. Instead he twitters at twitter.com/cjkihlbom.
